Berthoud Days - first weekend in June
Your new hometown is an expansive playground, providing ample community opportunities to live, work and play. Adventure seekers can conquer bucket list activities like golfing at the nations newest TPC Course at Heron Lakes, and boating, fishing, camping and hiking the numerous local nature areas like Carter Lake.
Hop on your bike and discover quaint shops, museums, local restaurants and of course the award-winning breweries. Because you now live in The Garden Spot of Colorado, enjoy a leisurely stroll through historic Old Town's tree-lined streets to view beautiful homes and gardens. Don't forget to take a picnic to Fickel Park and enjoy the whimsical statues. You won't want to miss annual events like SunFest and Outdoor Quilt Show, Berthoud Day, Oktoberfest, and SnowFest - plus many more that the Community of Berthoud has to offer.
Berthoud area schools offer an excellent education as well as many extra-curricular opportunities like music, robotics, drama, and athletics. Colorado State University, University of Colorado Boulder and the University of Northern Colorado are equidistant making Berthoud a convenient location for the pursuit of a higher education.
Some say Berthoud is like Andy Griffith's fictitious Mayberry. That may be true, but our little hometown is real and we think even better! Berthoud is the perfect place to live, yet the gateway to some of the best Colorado has to offer including Rocky Mountain National Park, Boulder, Denver and Fort Collins. We are so happy to call it home, definitely one of the best places to live in Colorado. We are honored to be a home builder right here. See you around town neighbor!
